Hanin Elias - In Flames Remix EP
DHR goes pop, or as pop as we'll ever get! Kathleen Hanna and Johanna Fateman (members of Le Tigre) have mixed Hanin’s sinister vocals with a zinging guitar/keyboard/casio affair transforming Girl Serial Killer into a rather bizarre pop hit.
Nic Endo’s Slaves remix is a total head fuck, a wash of noise and sex.
The two In Flames remixes are not poles apart, both of them taking the song to a far colder place. Whilst CDB mixes his dark wild breaks, Audiowhore’s mix is like sitting in a freezer with Hanin whispering through the door.
Hanayo’s Girl Serial Killer remix is just plain weird, with Franky Teardrop's bastard offspring making us twitch.
